Album de Bretagne de Joseph Marie Villard :
Joseph-Marie Villard is the son of the famous Quimper photographer Joseph Villard, who introduced him to his art.
The Villard workshop was first installed rue des Gentilshommes, then moved for the first time to rue Saint-François, then again boulevard de l'Amiral-de-Kerguélen, in the Ty-Kodak building that Jean-Marie Villard has commissioned from Olier Mordrel.
At the end of the 19th century, a new means of correspondence appeared and experienced a dazzling boom: the postcard. The development of the railway has indeed facilitated greater mobility of populations as well as faster delivery of mail.
