Adsao :

Adsao was a monthly magazine and a Breton Catholic regionalist movement in the years 1929 à 1934. It was created by abbé Madec, one of the few leaders of Bleun Brug with abbé Perrot to be involved in the nationalist movement. Adsao published a monthly newspaper with a circulation of 4 000 / 5 000 copies. It dealt with economic matters which were at the root of the peasant emigration to the cities. Public meetings were organised (usually on Sundays, preferably just after Mass) which drew a large crowd. These meetings frequently led to the formation of local branches, led by local councillors. At the end of 1930, several thousand members had been registered. In the spring of 1934, Adsao went into association with 'la Confédération des Anciens Combattants' and was absorbed by its powerful ally.
