Le Miroir is a French illustrated weekly launched in 1910. This issue tells the story of Countess Markievicz of Ira. Countess Constance Markievicz (February 4, 1868 - July 15, 1927), sometimes nicknamed the Red Countess because of her socialist convictions, is an Irish nationalist and revolutionary. Of aristocratic origin, nothing predestined her to take up the defense of the poorest, and arms for the Irish cause. With Maud Gonne, she is one of the most admired women in Ireland.
