Heimdal - 1974 - N°11

In 1971, Georges Bernage, then a student at the Institute of Scandinavian Studies at the University of Caen, founded a historical review devoted to Normandy. Entitled Heimdal, from the name of a divinity from Norse mythology, this review - which appeared until 1987 - is considered by historian Benoît Marpeau as the heir to Jean Mabire's Viking review.
