Yeun ar Gow (or 'ar Go'), officially registered as Yves Le Goff, born in Pleyben in 1897, died in Gouezec in 1966, was one of the main writers in the Breton language of the 20th Century. He was appointed to various lawyers offices in different parts of Finistère (Pleyben, Châteaulin, Pontivy, Plomodiern) before setting up his own practice in Gouezec in 1927. He published 'Marc'heger ar Gergoad', a book for young people, in 1939, and towards the end of his life wrote numerous works in Breton, a number of these being re published in the 1990s and 2000.
