Le Roux Eugène

Eugène le Roux, known under the pseudonym Evnig Penn-ar-C'hoad, was a writer from the Trégor well known for his songs and plays. He was born on 9th September 1893 in Pommeret Jaudy; took the pseudonym Evnig Pann-ar-C'hoad from the place name of where he lived, today known as 'Le Chef du Bois'. He acquired a certain celebrity in the Trégor by taking part in all sorts of events, and also through his songs and plays. He wrote in several publications such as 'Arvorig'. He died on 19th April 1976 and is buried in Plougrescant.
