His real name was Jean Delalande, born in 1910 in Roche-sur-Yon and deceased in 1969 in Morlaix. He was a teacher and journalist who collected and created songs in Breton. He succeeded Yann Sohier as director of the Breton language magazine 'Ar Falz'.
