Herry Caouissin (born 7th May 1913 in Pleyber-Christ and deceased 12th February 2003 in Hennebont) was a publisher, writer, illustrator and film producer on Brittany.

He was a journalist in Paris for the 'Coeur Vaillants' Catholic publications, 'Pierrot Lisette L'intrépide...'. In 1932 he became secretary to l'Abbé Perrot and member of the 'Seiz-Breur' Breton cultural organisation. In 1934 he started the comic strip 'Feiz ha Breiz evit ar vugale'. He was general secretary of 'Bleun Brug' from 1934 to 1948.

He started the nationalist publishing company 'Brittia', publishing books on Breton history and the magazine 'Ololê' for children with his brother Ronan and Vefa de Bellaing in November 1943. In the 1950's and 1960's he takes on the organisation of the 'Bleimor' Breton scouts, whose magazines were called 'Sturier' and 'Sturier-Yaouankiz'. He also wrote for 'Al Liamm' and in 1993 he was awarded the 'Ordre de l'Hermine'.
