
Luc Braeuer, born in 1970, is, with his brother Marc, the creator of the museum of the Grand Blockhaus de Batz-sur-Mer in Loire-Atlantique (www.grandblockhaus. com), the Quinéville Memorial of the Found Freedom in the English Channel (www.memorial-quineville. com) and the La Rochelle Bunker (www.bunkerlarochelle.com). Engineer and reserve officer, he published 32 books on the history of the ports of Saint-Nazaire, Lorient and Brest during the last war, as well as several biographies of submarine commanders. He lives in Le Pouliguen.
