Jean Marie Bouessel du Bourg, also known as Yann Bouessel du Bourg, was a personality of the Breton movement (1924-1996). He wrote hundreds of articles for various magazines between 1970 and 1990, mainly on the history of Brittany. He was close to Xavier de Langlais, his neighbour and friend. He had an important influence on the Kendalch confederation, the Bleimor Scouts, and of course Al Liam. He was president of the Breton literature section of the 'Institut Culturel' for years.
