Born in 1888 in Niort, this poet and historian undoubtedly symbolizes the emergence of the Breton nationalist movement at the beginning of the century. Founder of the 'Parti Nationaliste Breton' in 1911, Camille Le Mercier d'Erm, his bardic name Kammermor, played a prominent role for the young Breton activists between the two World Wars.
