Banéat Paul

Paul Jacques Trémeur Banéat, born on 5th October 1896 and deceased on 22nd May 1942, was a historian specialised on Brittany. He published several works on the history of Brittany, making particular use of legal contracts and documents from the Ille et Vilaine departmental archives and the Rennes municipal archives. He was the Director of Rennes' archeological museum from 1906 until his death in 1942.
