Émile Boutin, born on November 1, 1919 in Segré and died on the night of October 13 to 14, 2013 in La Bernerie-en-Retz, is a French historian. Co-founder with Pierre Fréor, Dominique Pierrelée and Michel Lopez of the Society of Historians of the Pays de Retz, he is the author of a large number of books about this territory.
He is an officer of the Academic Palms.
