Printer and Bookseller.
Note: Printer-Bookseller and man of letters; the Dauphin's printer (1826-1830); printer for the final Court of Appeal. A native of Pontoise. Son of Paul-Francois Pihan-Delaforest (1739-1810), lawyer at the parliament in Paris and then imperial prosecutor in Pontoise. Pupil of the teacher's training college and then professor of rhetoric. Member of the Royal Society of Geography and several other learned societies.
