Alan Joseph Raude, born 1923 in Courbevoie, but originally from île de Groix, and died on 10th March 2017 in Daoulas, was a Breton linguist, historian and hagiographer. He is known for his works on the geographic origins of the Bretons in Brittany and on the linguistic history of Brittany.
