A Breton expatriated to Paris during the forties, Paul Chérel frequents Ker Vreizh for classes in Breton and for cultural activities, then goes on to his professional career and looses all contacts with Breton movements. It is only on retirement in 1991 that he settles in the Morbihan. His involvement then takes on another dimension through writing what he has to say, resulting in numerous texts published in Armor Magazine, Breizh-Info, Bretagne Hebdo and l'Avenir de la Bretagne.
Finally, encouraged by some friends, he created a monthly entitled 'Lheure du réveil-Dihunomp? , which has gained in popularity since early 2000.
