Lescour J P M

Jean-Pierre-Marie Le Scour, or simply Jean-Pierre Le Scour, was born in Hanvec on 2nd March 1811 and died on 19th August 1870 in Morlaix. He was known as 'Le barde de Notre-Dame-de-Rumengol', and signed his works JPM Lescour in French, and in Breton I.P.M. ar Skourr, Barz Itron Varia Remengol and Kloarek Remengol(the clerk of Rumengol). Whilst practising his profession of wholesale drinks merchant, he wrote a Breton language work of very religious poetry.
