Clément Charles Francois de L'Averdy, marquis of Gambais, born in Paris on 4th November 1724 and died in Paris on 24th November 1793, was a magistrate and French politician, who was Louis the XVth Inspector of Finances.
L'Averdy contributed to the setting up of a Famine pact, was arrested, condemned to death and then guillotined.
